We collect first and last name, email address and mobile phone number from a parent in order to obtain verifiable parental consent to allow a child to use our Service.
Biometric information. We collect photos and messages you upload and associate with your account.
Location information. We collect your and your child’s location through GPS, WiFi, or wireless network triangulation. We maintain location information only so long as is reasonable to provide the Service and then destroy the location data.
Social Media information. We collect your and your child’s information from the social media sites such as your profile information, profile picture, user name, user ID associated with your social media account, language, country, friends list, and any other information you permit the social network to share with third parties.
Usage information. We collect your and your child’s usage information when you use our service. This can include notifications of members of your Family and Friends. We also collect browser information, the website you came from or visit when you leave us, how you interact with our website, app, or Service, device information, IP address, or other persistent identifiers.

We use your contact information to communicate with you about this policy, our terms or other service related communications. We use your and your child’s contact information to send you alerts on the movements of your Family members and Friends. This may be by push notification or text alerts.
We use information to provide our services. We use your and your child’s location information to provide our services. This includes determining when you arrive or leave any of your designated “Places.” We use all categories of your and your child’s information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the Service.
We use information for marketing purposes. We use your and your child’s contact, and usage information to provide custom, personalized content information, including information about services provided by Kazoo or our business partners. We also use this information to track our marketing campaigns.
We use information to improve our services. We use your and your child’s contact and usage information to improve our website and our services.
We use information to protect our company and constituents. We use your and your child’s contact, location, biometric, and usage information to protect our company or our Users. This includes using this information to identify fraud and to secure our systems. We will use all categories of your and your child’s information for other purposes as permitted by law.
We use information to talk to parents or guardians to get permission. We may use your contact information to get permission from parents for children who want to use our site or mobile app.

We share information with your Kazoo family and other Kazoo circles. We share your and your child’s contact, biometric and location information with individuals within your Kazoo family and other Kazoo circles. If you turn off location sharing in one or more of your circles, we will not share your location with such circles; however, while you are logged in to your account, we will continue to collect your location information in order to provide the Service (for example, to provide our emergency services or to share your location with the circles you allow to see your location).
We share information with our vendors and service providers. We share information with our third-party business partners, vendors and consultants who perform services on our behalf, such as accounting, managerial, technical, marketing or analytic services. We also share information with our vendors who provide video streaming and chat messenger functionality.
We share information you post on our website. Any information or content that you or your child voluntarily post to the website will automatically be available to the public. We may publicly post your reviews and comments online on our website or mobile app, or link your reviews to third party websites.

How We Protect Your Information
Kazoo cares about the security of your information and uses commercially reasonable physical, administrative, and technological safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information we collect and that we share with our service providers. However, no security system is impenetrable and we cannot guarantee the security of our systems 100%.
Your Choices About Your Information
You can control your receipt of push notifications and text alerts by visiting “Settings” within the mobile app.
Modifying Your Account Information and Settings: You may modify or update your account information or change your password at any time by logging into your Kazoo account on your cellular device. If you have any questions about reviewing or modifying your account information, you can contact us directly at email@example.com.
You can also stop receiving promotional email communications from us by clicking on the “unsubscribe link” provided in such communications. If you opt-out of receiving promotional communications, you will still receive Service-related communications (e.g., account verification, parental consent notification, order confirmations, change or updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices).
We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Delete Your Account and Personal Information: We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.
You can control cookies and tracking tools. Your browser may give you the ability to manage cookies or other tracking technology. Please refer to your browser’s technical information for instructions on how to delete or disable cookies and other tracking tools. Options you select are browser and device specific. If you block cookies, certain features on our sites may not work. If you block or reject cookies, not all of the tracking described here will stop.
Our Do Not Track Policy: Some browsers have “do not track” features that allow you to tell a website not to track you. These features are not all uniform. You can also control tools on your mobile device. For example, you can turn off the GPS locator or push notifications on your phone. You can also uninstall the app if you no longer wish to participate in our Service.
California residents’ rights. If you reside in California you have the right to request what information we collect, use, and disclose. We will use information you provide to us to verify your request by providing your full name, phone number and Apple ID associated with the account. We will not discriminate against you because you have exercised any of your privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. You can designate an agent to make a request by having them execute a notarized power of attorney to act on your behalf.
Sales of personal information. We do not sell California residents’ personal information. We do not exchange Nevada residents’ personal information for money with anyone so they may license or sell the personal information to additional parties. We do not sell personal information of minors under the age of 16. Nevada residents may opt-out of the future sale of their information to a third party so that they may license or sell information by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our Service allows parents to keep track of their children’s location on mobile devices that the Parent has added to the Family account. The Service is intended to be used by children under 13 only with significant parental involvement and approval. If a Parent wishes to add a User who is under 13 to the Family account, the Parent must “Agree” to the online parental consent form when configuring the child’s device. You can review and have your child’s personal information deleted. If you believe that we might have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent, please contact us at email@example.com.
